Our founders spent over a decade inside hospital billing departments, large RCM firms, and private practice back offices. They watched the same failures repeat themselves — preventable denials, missed charges, uncollected A/R, and practices that never knew what they were losing. Theiatrics exists to end that cycle, permanently.
Every dollar a healthcare provider earns belongs in their account — not lost to a denial, not aging in unpaid A/R, not written off because someone was too busy to fight for it.
Our mission is simple: to make revenue protection as clinical as the care itself. We believe that when providers stop worrying about their billing, they have more of their time, energy, and focus to give to the patients who need them. That trade is worth everything to us.
From a Shared Frustration to a
Company Built on Principle
Our co-founders met inside a large hospital system’s revenue cycle department in Houston, Texas in 2014. Between them, they had 22 years of medical billing experience — and they shared one deep frustration: the providers they served were brilliant clinicians doing important work, but the billing infrastructure around them was slow, passive, and accepting of losses that should never have been accepted.
Denials were filed and forgotten. Charges were occasionally missed. A/R aged past the point of recovery because no one had time to chase it. The billing companies most practices used were processing claims — they weren’t fighting for revenue. And in most cases, the practices themselves had no idea what they were losing.
In 2018, they left their corporate positions and founded Theiatrics with three commitments: be transparent with every client about exactly where their money is and why, fight for every denied dollar as aggressively as if it were our own, and build billing systems that are specialty-specific and clinical in their precision — not one-size-fits-all assembly lines.
Today, Theiatrics serves over 2,400 healthcare providers across 21 specialties. We’ve grown entirely on referrals from practices who experienced a measurable improvement in their financial health within the first 90 days — and who chose to stay. That word-of-mouth growth is the metric we’re proudest of. It means the work is real.
